This past week, Hard Seltzer News Podcast was joined by Sara Hillstrom, Senior Director of Category Development at Anheuser-Busch. She holds a BS in finance from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Sara is an expert in the beer and alcoholic beverage industry, and has recently been very active in the strategy of gaining shelf space for the hard seltzers produced by AB, which include Bud Light Seltzer, Bud Light Platinum Seltzer, Natural Light Seltzer, PBR stronger seltzer, BON V!V, and Social Club hard seltzer.
Sara talked to us about how hard seltzers are influencing the alcoholic beverage market — on shelves and in convenience store cold vaults, at grocers, as well as in e-commerce sales with online retailers like Drizly.
In this episode, Sara gave a few insights into how Anheuser-Busch is handling the growing hard seltzer category and spoke about her experience as a woman working in the beer industry.
