With bragging rights to UK’s first hard seltzer, Bodega Bay today launched an ad campaign on the SKY TV network, the UK’s largest pay-TV broadcaster. The ads can be seen on Sky One, Comedy Central, and Sky Comedy programs.

Upcoming spots will air on Entourage, the Ricky Gervais Show, Late Night with James Corden, and more.

Bodega Bay founder and CEO, Charlie Markland, said in a post, “This time last year, still working largely on my own, if you had told me we’d be launching a TV ad on SKY tomorrow (!) I would have put you in the recovery position and searched you for a head injury!”

Markland credited the project to Luís Coutinho, head of marketing at Bodega Bay, and Bertrand Nicoli, a partner at the firm. Location scouting was assisted by the Incipio Group LTD.

Bodega Bay is currently offered in two varieties, Apple with Ginger and Açai Berry, and Elderflower with Lemon and Mint. Each flavor is 72 calories and 4% ABV.
