Mighty Swell Seltzer is the marriage of three distiller power houses: Sean Cusack of Waterloo Sparkling Water, Clayton Christopher from Deep Eddy Vodka, Sweet Leaf Tea, and Daniel Barnes Treaty Oak Distilling of Waterloo Sparkling Water.
There’s been a recent influx of hard seltzer brands from US distilleries. Joined by wine producers and beer brewers, the hard seltzer offerings are mushrooming in the US.
Founded near the start of the hard seltzer craze in 2016, the goal was to create a low-calorie, low-sugar seltzer using no artificial flavors or sweeteners. At 110 calories per can, Mighty Swell uses natural white grape juice to produce the alcohol.
Mighty Swell Seltzer is currently available in four flavors: Cherry Lime, Watermelon Mint, Peach, and Grapefruit.
