Meet a hard seltzer with real heart. Colorado’s Heart Distillery launched Colorado Spiked Seltzer following the success of its craft vodka. Heart uses the same vodka, made with water sourced from the Rocky Mountains, to craft their ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails.
The industry has seen many entries from distilleries anxious to diversify and garner market share.
Colorado Spikes Seltzer is available in three flavors: Organic Lemon, Key Lime, and Tangerine. A 12-oz. can contains 150 calories and five percent alcohol.
Creators Pat and Amanda Weakland encourage you to get creative and use their hard seltzer as a mixer. The husband and wife team own and operate both the Heart Distillery and High Hops Brewery out of Windsor, Colorado. In addition to seltzer and vodka, the couple also makes gin, whiskey, and absinthe.
