White Claw hard seltzer on United Airlines

In more news that life is getting back to normal, United Airlines added White Claw hard seltzer to its inflight menu of drink options. The announcement came with the resumption of inflight service by most major airlines by June 1.

White Claw’s Mango version will be sold for $8 per can on certain United domestic flights. Flight attendants also carry Mich ULTRA, Stella Artois, Breckenridge Brewery Juice Drop Hazy IPA, and Kona Brewing’s Big Wave Golden Ale.

All options in its “Beer” menu are $8 per can, unless you’re riding in a premium cabin.

White Claw is the only gluten free option on the Beer menu.

According to a United statement, they are the first airline to offer White Claw at 30,000 feet.

Delta Airlines recently added Tip Top cocktails to its inflight menu. American Airlines had decided to wait until June 1, when beverage service, including canned drinks, juice and water, will begin in the main cabin.

“We know that having a wide variety of gourmet food and beverage options is important to our customers and we look forward to introducing these exciting, new options to enhance their flying experience,” said Toby Enqvist, chief customer officer for United.

“Our new contactless payment technology enables us to safely introduce this new menu on select flights as we continue to see more customer return to flying.”
