Sixpoint Brewery, a Brooklyn success story with its wide selection of craft beers, plans to enter the hard seltzer category, Hard Seltzer News has learned.
The new beverage will be named Party Poppers, according to trademark filings with the USPTO, and fit nicely in the company’s lineup of festive beers. Sixpoint recently released Party Favors Hazy Imperial IPA and Party Hat, its 7.0% ABV cousin.
Sixpoint also released in 2019, Party Piñata, a sour IPA with toasted coconut and pineapple puree flavors.
The company is part of Artisanal Brewing Ventures, based in Charlotte, NC. Other members of the coalition include Victory, Southern Tier Brewing, Southern Tier Distilling, and Bold Rock. ABV has previously had significant market presence with canned cocktails and hard seltzer through its Bold Rock brand.
Initial attempts to reach Sixpoint for a comment were unsuccessful. Stay tuned for more information.
