Molson Coors (NYSE: TAP) issued a statement this morning about the official launch of its new Proof Point ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktails. The new beverage is another extension of the big brewer’s Beyond Beer category.
Proof Point, initially announced by Hard Seltzer News in September of 2021, is now being sold in 27 US states.
The real fruit juice and real spirits sparkling cocktails were one of the top new 11 hard seltzer brands expected in 2021. They are blended with real whiskey, rum, vodka, and tequila.
Proof Point launches in four varieties, including whiskey seltzer with blackberry lemon, rum seltzer with mango pineapple, vodka seltzer with lime, and tequila seltzer with grapefruit. Each 12 ounce slim can has 5% ABV, 100 calories and no sugar, and is sold in 4-packs.

“We’ve crafted Proof Point with high-quality spirits that were previously missing from the category, like barrel-aged whiskey, Caribbean rum, six-times distilled vodka and Mexican tequila.”
