National Wine Day is coming up on May 25. Looking for a refreshingly light way to celebrate? Try the new Flavor Trip craft canned wine spritzers from Round Barn.

The wine spritzers are available in five flavors: Cherry Spritzer, Crantini, Peach Bellini, Red Sangria, and the new Raspberry Lemonade.

Now available in 12 oz. cans, legal drinking age (LDA) fans can buy a four pack for $13.99 or a case for $36.00. The Flavor Trip series are made with all-natural fruit concentrates and contain no high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, or coloring.  The varieties range from 4.15% ABV (the Crantini) to 6.89% ABV (Cherry Spritzer).

Legal drinking age (LDA) consumers can take their own Flavor Trip by ordering online via Round Barn’s website. Sign up for the company’s email list to receive 15% off your first order.

The Moersch family founded Round Barn in 1997, after discovering a literal round barn in northern Indiana. The family saw potential in said barn, turning it into a brewery, winery, and distillery.

Spritzers and other canned wines are a great way to enjoy wine on the go, as you don’t need to remember to bring glasses or a corkscrew. Cans fit easily in a cooler and offer a sanitary (and recyclable) drinking option for all your outdoor gatherings this summer.

They also tend to be lighter in both calories, sugar, and alcohol than traditional wines.

Options have been increasing as other vineyards scramble to release their own canned concoctions. Even Barefoot is getting in on the action, with their popular wine-based seltzer that was released last year.

Barefoot’s take on hard seltzer combines sparkling water with grape wine and other natural flavors. Each 250 ml. can contains 70 calories and 4% ABV.

The original variety pack contains Cherry & Cranberry, Peach & Nectarine, Pineapple & Passionfruit, and Strawberry & Guava.

The vineyard also just released the Sun Perfect Favorites variety pack, featuring two fan favorites (Pineapple & Passionfruit and Strawberry & Guava) plus two new citrusy flavors: Blueberry & Lemon and Watermelon & Lime.

For those looking for a potent yet portable champagne cocktail, check out New England’s own Ohza, makers of premium canned mimosas. Available in flavors like Classic Mimosa, Mango Mimosa, Cranberry Mimosa, and Classic Bellini, the company boasts that each can contains “up to 80% less sugar and 60% fewer calories than a typical mimosa.”

Not sold on spritzers, but still looking for a lighter way to celebrate National Wine Day? Check out Cupcake’s new Lighthearted wines, which contain a mere 80 calories and less than one gram of sugar per serving yet still manage 8% ABV. The new, better for you wine even has its own Aldi dupe, called “Don’t Mind if I Do.”

How will you celebrate National Wine Day? A few years ago, the most interesting thing happening in wine was rosé. If you are in the market for something new and exciting, try a sparkling spritzer in fun and fruity blends like Flavor Trip. Wine is no longer limited to mere grapes.
