The Boston Beer Company (NYSE: SAM) will announce financial results Thursday, and expectations are high for the makers of Truly hard seltzer.

The company’s stock is trading approximately 30% off its 52 week (all-time) high of $1,349.48 per share. That pinnacle was reached way back on April 20, 2021 (only three months ago). The stock value is very close to the mid-value point between its 52-week low and high, trading about 45% greater than that low.

Not only does Boston Beer produce household names like Sam Adams beer and Truly hard seltzer, but recently announced a strategic partnership with Beam Suntory. The growth opportunity for ready-to-drink (RTD) canned cocktails is significant, and these companies plan to leverage strengths to become a leading force in the market.

Thursday’s Q2 results announcements will tell us more about the success of Truly in 2021 critical months, but the subsequent call with analysts should give more insight into the plans with Beam Suntory.
