Gavin Hattersly, CEO of Molson Coors (NYSE: TAP), confirmed in a CNBC interview yesterday that the Ft. Worth, Texas, Miller brewery will be expanded for the production of its growing portfolio in hard seltzer.

“We’re expanding capacity in our Ft Worth brewery for our seltzer portfolio,” said Hattersly in the interview that aired on CNBC and YouTube.

While at the end of 2019, Hattersly laid out a plan to “Focus in on our iconic core brands, Miller Lite and Coors Light.” the focuc in 2020 has clearly been hard seltzer. The company has launched Vizzy, Coors Seltzer, and announced Tuesday that they would include Topo Chico in their portfolio through a licensing agreement with The Coca-Cola Company.

Seperately, the company announced their entry into spirit-based ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails with the introduction of Proof Point.
