Billed as China’s first hard seltzer, Lingya is now Zeya, a hard seltzer with slightly more ABV than its predecessor.
Lingya was launched in August of 2020 by co-founder Eric Hoang. That product was released as a vodka-based seltzer with 3.8% ABV.
The new formulation, dubbed Zeya, is 4.5% ABV and still made with a vodka base. It’s available in 4 flavors of grapefruit, passion fruit, white peach, and cucumber. All four flavors were included in the launch of Lingya, which also included Blackberry and Strawberry formulations.
“We believe our rebrand better communicates our mission – to create a zero pressure world by empowering people to unwind and have fun their way,” said Hoang in a release.
