“The first in the many steps Sipful is taking towards being the business we want to be and for you guys to ‘Drink Well, Do Good’,” the UK company announced on its Twitter account.

Sipful produces Organic Bubbles, an organic white wine infused with bubbles, and a Bellini, and two orange Mimosa varieties in 250 ml cans. The certified organic bubbly Spanish wine has low acidity and light carbonation, whilst delivering 11% ABV. The Bellini and Mimosa wine seltzer cocktails are 4.5% ABV each. All products are packaged in recyclable cans.

The Cumbria-based maker of canned cocktails committed to an Earth Day pledge from the Positive Impact Community, which sets out 12 ‘drivers of change’ to improve sustainability in the food and beverage industry.

By signing the pledge, Sipful joins other food and drinks companies who are calling for a new food system, a more sustainable model.

“Destructive agriculture, exploitative supply chain dynamics, and harmful packaging weigh the system down, slow the progress of decarbonisation, and continue to take more from the planet than the sector returns,” the advocate organization states.

“So here’s to less mindless hustle and more mindful,” they concluded. We couldn’t agree more.
