Get ready for the summer of Red, White, and Berry! Smirnoff is bringing back its popular summer seasonal flavor and expanding the product line.
The Red, White, and Berry cross-category line perfectly captures the flavor of a bomb pop (or the popular red, white, and blue popsicles for the uninitiated), making it the ultimate summer party drink. It’s like drinking a melted popsicle spiked with vodka and cut with some sparkling water.
Smirnoff Ice SMASH – the newest addition to the line – comes in an imperial level 8% ABV. The premium malt beverage comes in the summery flavor combination of cherry, citrus, and blue raspberry (think the red, white, and blue layers of a bomb pop).
The delightfully patriotic Red, White, and Berry flavor is also available as a hard seltzer, a flavored vodka, and as a bottled Smirnoff Ice.
In honor of the new release, Smirnoff wants to give fans the best summer ever. The brand is teaming up with actor and comedian Anthony Anderson to give away 2,021 “epic trips and dream experiences” as part of the “Smirnoff Summer of 2,021 Dreams” campaign.
Legal-drinking age (LDA) consumers can share the details of how they want to live their best lives this summer in order to enter the contest.
“I think it’s safe to say we’re all happy to put 2020 in the rearview mirror,” said Jennifer Holiday Hudson, brand leader for Smirnoff North America, a unit of Diageo (NYSE: DEO).
“Because so many people had to put their plans on hold last year, we really wanted to help bring fun back this summer and safely give people experiences they’ve been dreaming about,” Hudson continued. “What better way to do that than with the return of Smirnoff Red, White & Berry, bigger and better than ever.”
The Summer of 2,021 Dreams runs now through August 15. According to a press release announcing the contest, “there will be a variety of prizes ranging from once-in-a-lifetime experiences to everyday summer essentials. From tricked out campers, to epic trips, to custom experiences to novelty serving trays and one-of-a-kind Smirnoff swag.”
“This is my first campaign as part of the Smirnoff family and to know we’re going this big at the start, I can only imagine the things we will be able to celebrate together,” said Smirnoff partner Anthony Anderson.

Anderson will be starring in a series of TV spots, also available online, where the comedian discusses different summer dreams – like landing the perfect job while decked out in your tracksuit.
In addition to the seasonal favorite Red, White, and Berry, Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer is available in a variety 12 pack featuring Cranberry Lime, Berry Lemonade, Raspberry Rose’, and Pina Colada. Each can contains 90 calories, 1 carb, zero sugar, and 4.5% ABV.
