On the cusp of a hot hard seltzer summer, Bud Light Seltzer is hinting at its autumnal offerings for 2021. Fall flavors to look forward to could include Pumpkin Spice, Toasted Marshmallow, and Maple Pear.

Since its introduction in early 2020, Bud Light Seltzer has not been afraid of seasonal flavors. In fact, it has embraced them more than any of the other top brands.

Last winter it introduced the Ugly Sweater variety pack, with the Out of Office pack to follow this spring.

Like the original variety, each 12 oz. can contains 100 calories and 5% ABV.

While Anheuser-Busch (NYSE: BUD) stopped short of confirming development of these new festive flavors, the company has filed for label approval with the TTB. They teased the release when asked for a comment by Hard Seltzer News.

“Bud Light Seltzer is all about bringing delicious flavors to the hard seltzer category and inviting new fans to give seltzer a try through fun and innovative tastes,” a spokesperson for Bud Light said in an email to HSN.

“While we don’t have any additional details to share at this time about our plans…these flavors actually sound pretty delicious.” – Anheuser-Busch

Last winter’s holiday sweater variety pack saw three seasonal winter flavors, anchored by fan favorite Cranberry. For a limited time, fans could enjoy Apple Crisp, Ginger Snap, and Peppermint Pattie, which tasted exactly like a sparkling blend of chocolate and peppermint.

This spring’s Out of Office variety pack features four new flavors, all based on classic cocktails. Legal-drinking age (LDA) consumers can celebrate the summer season with Strawberry Daiquiri, Mango Mai Tai, Watermelon Mojito, and the shockingly authentic – and delicious! – tasting Classic Lime Margarita.

Like the previous seasonal variety packs, the fall flavors will have (super Instagrammable) themed cans inspired by their flavors; each variety comes in a different color of plaid, based on their flavor profile. They like a cozy flannel shirt you’d wear while sitting around a fire – perhaps while toasting a marshmallow, or enjoying a hard seltzer of the same variety.

The Ugly Sweater flavors obviously came in cans resembling classic holiday sweaters, while the Out of Office cans feature brightly colored tropical flowers.

To keep the fun coming this summer, Bud Light Seltzer released frozen icicles in the limited edition “Tie Dye pack.” The fun new freeze pops will be available in 12 packs featuring 2 oz. icicles in three different flavors: Blue Raspberry, Cherry Limeaid, and Summer Ice.

Made with natural flavors, each icicle contains 30 calories, 3 grams of sugar, and 5% ABV. While one would need to consume 6 icicles to get the same alcohol equivalent of one Bud Light Seltzer, they’re just strong enough bring poolside and get the party started.

Hard seltzer was initially seen as a summer trend, and while it’s a perfect session beverage for hot days, it works year-round. We applaud Bud Light Seltzer for leaning into seasonal flavors and offering a seltzer flavor for every holiday. Here’s to a festive fall full of Pumpkin Spice, Toasted Marshmallows, and Maple Pear.
