Wishing you could make this summer last a little longer? Bud Light Seltzer hears you, and is here to help. The company announced that the Retro Summer variety pack is now a permanent fixture in the brand’s seltzer portfolio.

Starting in late October, the popular variety pack will be known as the Retro Tie Dye pack, thanks to its groovy cans.

Its fun and nostalgic flavors – Cherry Limeade, Blue Raspberry, and Summer Ice – will now be available year round. Summer Ice will be renamed Twisted Berry for the Retro Tie Dye pack.

“Our consumers have continued to reach for Bud Light Seltzer because they know we consistently deliver the great taste and fun flavors they’re looking for,” said Andy Goeler, Vice President of Marketing, Bud Light.

“Our ability to remain nimble has allowed us to run the edge of innovation, like we did with the Bud Light Seltzer Retro pack, and its success speaks for itself. We’re thrilled to now be offering Retro’s  flavors to fans and new seltzer drinkers alike year-round.”

Upon its release earlier this season, the Retro Summer pack quickly became a fan favorite, “generating 3.5% share of the category alone,” according to a statement announcing the news. Anheuser-Busch says it was “the best performance of a limited edition variety pack for the brand to-date.”

The Retro Summer variety pack will continue to be available through October 11, before becoming the Retro Tie Dye pack.

Perhaps the brand anticipated the hit it had in its hands. To make this summer even cooler, Bud Light Seltzer released its own spiked Frozen Icicles to accompany the Retro Summer flavors.

Available in packs of 12, each popsicle is 2 oz. and contains 30 calories, 3 grams of sugar, and 5% ABV.

The brand has shown innovation in its limited edition seasonal flavors since releasing the Ugly Sweater pack for last year’s holiday season. In addition to year-round fan favorite Cranberry, the seasonal winter flavors included Apple Crisp, Ginger Snap, and Peppermint Pattie – and yes, they all came in their very own (and very Instagrammable) ugly sweater patterned can.

This spring saw the release of the Out of Office pack, which featured four fruity flavors inspired by classic summer cocktails, all festooned in bright tropical flowers. The variety pack, which includes Classic Lime Margarita, Mango Mai Tai, Strawberry Daiquiri, and Watermelon Mojito, is still available in stores for a limited time.

The brand is already hinting at its upcoming new seasonal flavors for fall (clever name TBD), which could include Maple Pear, Pumpkin Spice, and Toasted Marshmallow. The cans come decked out for the season in cozy plaid prints.

When asked for a comment on this autumn’s offerings, a spokesperson for Bud Light said “Bud Light Seltzer is all about bringing delicious flavors to the hard seltzer category and inviting new fans to give seltzer a try through fun and innovative tastes,” in an email to HSN.

We’re excited to see the Tie Dye flavors available year-round, and can’t wait to see what other seasonal surprises Bud Light Seltzer has in store.
