Good Dogg Beverage is expanding the distribution of its line of purpose-driven hard seltzers. The company has teamed up with the beverage consultants at Liquid Opportunities to launch Good Dogg Premium Hard Seltzer nationwide.
Good Dogg Premium Hard Seltzers are available in four fruit-centric flavors including Cucumber Lime, Black Cherry, Dragonfruit and Orange Mango. The beverages contain 90 calories each, 0 carbs, 0 sugar and an ABV of 4.5% per 12 ounce slim can. The Florida-based brand is vegan-friendly, gluten-free and available in a 12-can variety pack featuring all four flavors. Good Dogg Hard Seltzers can currently be found in alcohol retailers around New England but they will soon be hitting shelves across the country.
It’s a dog-eat-dog world for hard seltzer brands. The market is rich with options and most alcohol beverage companies have at least one brand of hard seltzer in their portfolio. What sets Good Dogg apart from the “big dogs” of the alcohol industry is its commitment to philanthropy. As part of Good Dogg’s “Leverage the Beverage” campaign, a portion of the proceeds from every beverage sold goes towards the company’s charities of choice–all of which prioritize animal welfare and children battling rare illnesses.
Good Dogg donates to a long list of worthy organizations such as KIF1A.ORG, “a global community dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by KIF1A Associated Neurological Disorder (KAND) and accelerating research to find a cure.” The beverage company also gives to Canines for Disabled Kids, an organization that matches children in need with trained service dogs. H.A.L.O. (Helping Animals Live and Overcome), a no-kill rescue based in Florida, is another of the brand’s chosen charities.
“There’s no doubt hard seltzer is competitive right now,” stated Jason Kane, the CEO of Liquid Opportunities. “But Good Dogg has several unique assets that differentiate the brand and have the potential to elevate the category as a whole.” Kane knows a thing or two about quality alcohol beverages. He has more than 30 years of experience in the beverage industry and he is also the former President of Mark Anthony Brands & Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Liquid Opportunities represents several seltzer and ready-to-drink (RTD) brands including Vosa Vodka Sodas, Bravago Seltzers, Boardwalk Craft Refreshers and Funny Water, to name a few.
Good Dogg’s website insists, “Like a dog, loyalty is woven into the heart of our business and is an integral part of our DNA as a company. We strive to be more than just a basic hard seltzer company.” The company makes its priorities clear, “we chose to be a philanthropic company that makes a premium hard seltzer, not the other way around.”
Good Dogg is eager to expand into new markets with Liquid Opportunities by its side. “We’re excited to be working with Liquid Opportunities to get Good Dogg out in the world,” stated Tony Venturoso, Good Dogg’s CEO and Founder. “To us, the brand represents much more than seltzer. It’s a movement to spread more positivity, purpose, and kindness in the world.”
