Anheuser-Busch (NYSE: BUD) is releasing Bud Light Seltzer Frozen Icicles to retailers in the coming weeks, just in time for hot summer days at the pools, beaches, and lakes.
The products will be sold in 12 packs of 2 ounce icicles, each containing 5% ABV. Flavors include Cherry Limeade, Blue Raspberry, and Summer Ice. The icicles have 30 calories and 3 grams of sugar. You would have to consume 6 of these to get the same alcohol as a 12 ounce can of Bud Light Seltzer (the beverage). They provide just enough alcohol to keep things interesting.
The company recently launched icicles under its Natural Light brand. Naturdays Frozen Icicles launched nationwide April 27 in two flavors, strawberry lemonade and pineapple lemonade. Those icicles boast 8% ABV.
Initial release of the Bud Light Seltzer Frozen Icicles will be in the limited edition Tie Dye Pack. The icicles are made with natural flavors.
