Post Meridiem canned cocktails can now be in your hands in 33 states. With a line up of five premium ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails, the Atlanta-based brand is challenging consumers to BYOB (Be Your Own Bartender).

The company proudly uses “timeless cocktail recipes, fine tuned by real mixologists to create perfectly balanced drinks.”

While many startups are utilizing contract manufacturers and packagers, Post Meridiem Cocktails are manufactured in their own facility in Atlanta’s West Midtown neighborhood.

Post Meridiem Cocktails have previously only been available in alcohol retail locations in Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. However, in addition to the retail locations, consumers in 33 states as well as Washington DC can now purchase Post Meridiem canned cocktails online through the company’s website.

The premium canned cocktails come in five flavors including The Real Lime Juice Margarita, The Lemongrass Vodka Gimlet, The 1944 Mai Tai, The Double Old Fashioned and The No. Four Daiquiri.

Post Meridiem insists, “Great cocktails start with great ingredients. That’s why our canned cocktails only use authentic ingredients at the proper proportions. We use distilled spirits, imported liqueurs, carefully-matched bitters, and 100% real lime juice. The result is a difference you can taste.”

The Real Lime Juice Margarita, for instance, contains silver tequila, orange curacao, and 100% real lime juice. The cocktail has an ABV of 27.5% and it is 55 proof.

The Lemongrass Vodka Gimlet contains vodka, 100% real lime juice, cane sugar syrup and lemongrass oil. The cocktail has an ABV of 25% and it is 50 proof.

The 1944 Mai Tai contains a blend of Caribbean rums, 100% real lime juice, orange curacao, and almond Orgeat. The cocktail has an ABV of 23.5% and it is 47 proof.

The Double Old Fashioned contains straight bourbon whiskey, a blend of three bitters, Demerara syrup, and orange zest oil. The cocktail has an ABV of 37% and it is 74 proof.

The No. Four Daiquiri contains silver and West Indies rums, Italian maraschino liqueur, 100% real lime juice, and cane sugar syrup. The cocktail has an ABV of 27% and it is 54 proof.

Packaging Makes for Good Travel

Post Meridiem cocktails come in packs of 4 individual flavors or a 12-can variety pack and they are delivered via third-party retailers. Each can costs $3.99 plus shipping. The minimum order is 8 cans with free shipping for orders of 24 or more.

The cocktails are available in 100ml steel-walled “petite cans”. Just gently shake the can and pour the cocktail over ice to serve. They are distributed through National Distributing Company, Republic National Distributing Company and Lipman Brothers.

Post Meridiem’s repertoire of cocktails has won a host of awards since the company’s inception in 2017. All five varieties of the brand’s RTD cocktails have medaled at both the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition as well as the SIP International Spirits Competition.

Andrew Rodbell and Charles Sain founded Post Meridiem after they repeatedly found themselves asking, “Why can’t I get a good cocktail here?” Now, thanks to the company’s direct-to-consumer shipping options, good cocktails can be easily  enjoyed almost anywhere they are desired…including in the comfort of your own home.

See Post Meridiem’s website for a list of states the canned cocktails are shipped to as well as to order online.
