Coors Seltzer has teamed up with Tipsy Scoop launching an alcohol-infused Orange Cream Pop Ice-Cream just in time to make this summer even sweeter. The limited edition frozen treat will become available on June 30th.

“Inspired by the nostalgic orange cream pop we typically see as a frozen treat, Coors Seltzer Orange Cream Pop Ice Cream by Tipsy Scoop is an upgraded summer treat for the ultimate refreshment,” stated Matt Lafferty, Coors Seltzer’s Marketing Manager.

Coors Orange Cream Pop Ice-Cream will be hitting freezer shelves just a few short weeks after the brand introduced a limited edition Orange Cream Pop flavored hard seltzer. “You thought we’d stop at turning the best ice-cream into a hard seltzer?” @coorslight asked its fans on Instagram. “Think again. We’ve turned the best ice-cream into a hard seltzer and turned THAT into hard ice-cream…”

Each 12 ounce can of Coors Orange Cream Pop Seltzer contains 90 calories, 2 grams of carbs, 2 grams of sugar and an ABV of 4.5%. The ice-cream version will boast a slightly higher ABV of 5%. The seltzer and the ice-cream will both only be available through the summer.

Tipsy Scoop was established in 2013 and is known for “blend[ing] the magic of an artisanal, hand-crafted ice cream with the mastery of a perfectly mixed cocktail.”

Truly Frozen Fun

This isn’t the first time the boozy ice-cream maker has partnered with a hard seltzer brand. Last summer Tipsy Scoop worked with Boston Beer’s Truly to release a limited edition line of seltzer-infused ice-creams and sorbets.

Truly Lemonade Ice Cream and Truly Lemonade Sorbet were available in several seasonal flavors including Lemonade Ice Cream, Black Cherry Lemonade Ice Cream, Mango Lemonade Sorbet and Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet. Like Coors’ Orange Cream Pop ice-cream, all of Truly’s flavors contained an ABV of 5%.

This summer Truly welcomed the warm season with another sweet treat. The seltzer brand released a line of limited edition frozen pops in three flavors including Original Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade and Mango Lemonade. Each 100ml pop contains 80 calories and an ABV of 5%.

A-B’s Frozen Treats

Alcohol-infused frozen treats are this summer’s must have accessories. Anheuser-Busch’s Bud Light Seltzer recently launched Bud Light Seltzer Frozen Icicles. The 2 ounce frozen icicles are available in three flavors including Cherry Limeade, Blue Raspberry and Summer Ice. Each one contains 30 calories and an ABV of 5%.

Another AB InBev company, Natural Light, also recently debuted a line of frozen pops called Naturdays. They are sold in a variety pack featuring Strawberry Lemonade and Pineapple Lemonade flavors. Each pop contains an ABV of 8%.

Cutwater Spirits, which is also owned by Anheuser-Busch, got in on the frozen pop game early and released a line of its own last summer. Cutwater Cocktail Pops feature real spirits and come in two variety packs, Frozen Cocktail Spirit Pops and Frozen Margarita Spirit Pops. All flavors contain 80 calories each and an ABV of 7%.

Costco even offers a line of frozen cocktails through its trademark brand, Kirkland Signatures. Kirkland Signatures Frozen Cocktails are sold in a variety pack featuring Watermelon Hibiscus, Lime Drop and Strawberry Freeze. Each one contains no more than 100 calories and an ABV of 8%.

Coors Orange Cream Pop Ice-Cream will be available to order nationwide via Tipsy Scoop’s website or at its “barlour” locations in New York. A discount code for online or in-store purchases is available on Coors Seltzer’s website.

Coors has made it known that this will be a #creampopsummer. With Coors Orange Cream Pop Seltzer and now Coors Orange Cream Pop Ice-Cream it will be easier to beat the heat this season.
