Celebrity chef joins the hard seltzer licensing trend.

Is there room in the hard seltzer category for new players? Legendary restaurateur Gordon Ramsay hopes your answer is “Yes, Chef!” The award winning chef and TV personality announced his new hard seltzer, cheekily named Hell’s Seltzer.

“Yes, even I enjoy a hard seltzer after a long day, so I decided to toss the devil horns into the ring and heat things up!” Ramsay said in a press release. “Hell’s Kitchen will never freeze over, but a cold Hell’s Seltzer is a great start.”

The Hell’s Kitchen host and chef announced that he is launching his own signature hard seltzer to be distributed nationwide by Brew Pipeline’s distribution network. Ramsay collaborated with both Brew Pipeline and Global Brews of London in order to bring the line of hard seltzers to fruition.

“Gordon’s team and Brew Pipeline put flavor first when developing Hell’s Seltzer,” says Steve Kwapil, CEO and co-founder of Brew Pipeline. “That’s always been Gordon’s goal, and we think he nailed it. We’re looking forward to sharing these bold seltzers with fans across the nation.”

Hell’s Seltzer will be available in four initial flavors, all containing 5.5 percent ABV. True to the ethos of his TV shows and restaurants, Chef Ramsay chose bold flavor combinations for his inaugural offering, all inspired by popular menu items at his restaurants.

Fans will soon be able to sample Berry Inferno (a heavenly blend of peach, blueberry, and raspberry), Knicker Twist (an appropriately titled cocktail of passionfruit, pineapple, and orange), Mean Green (a daring mix of kiwi, lime, mint, and pineapple) and the pie in a can That’s Forked (Key lime, vanilla, and graham).

Hell’s Seltzer will be available in variety 12 packs of 12 ounce cans, with a suggested retail price of $15.99 to $17.99. The “unapologetically bold” hard seltzer will be available in stores across the US in early 2021. Retailers interested in making a deal with Hell’s Seltzer can request more information here.

Emmy-nominated Chef Gordon Ramsay is renowned for producing popular cooking shows in the US and the UK. The 54-year-old Ramsay hosts and produces “Hell’s Kitchen,” “MasterChef,” “MasterChef Junior,” and “Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back.” He is the most subscribed chef on YouTube and his shows have been viewed in over 172 countries.

We’re hoping that this flavor forward line of hard seltzers will be available at Chef Ramsay’s restaurants, as they are practically begging to be paired with certain menu items. For instance, the Key lime pie centric That’s Forked would perfectly complement an order of Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips on the Las Vegas Strip. And who doesn’t want Gordon to yell at them while they sip a Berry Inferno in Hell’s Kitchen?

Even if you’re spending the night in while cooking along to an episode of MasterChef, Hell’s Seltzer is the perfect way to bring the taste of Gordon’s restaurants to the safety of your home. No word yet as to whether Chef Ramsay will release a non-alcoholic “Master Chef Junior” version of Hell’s Seltzer.
