Vizzy Hard Seltzer just announced its latest expansion, and it might just contain the brand’s “summeriest” flavors yet – meet the new Vizzy Watermelon, which is set to hit store shelves starting in late July – just in time for National Watermelon Day on August 3.

While the brand’s first two variety packs all contained four different flavor blends, the new release features four different fruits all paired with everyone’s favorite summer melon. It is crafted using real watermelon juice.

Fans will be able to spend the summer season sipping on Blueberry Watermelon, Kiwi Watermelon, Mango Watermelon, and Passionfruit Watermelon.

Like the original Vizzy varieties, each can contains 100 calories, 1 gram of sugar, 5% ABV, and of course the antioxidant vitamin C. Vizzy derives this natural immune booster from the superfruit acerola cherry.

The box mimics the melon to which it pays homage in bright fuchsia and teal, while the cans themselves look almost Warholian. Each flavor sports the same melon, surrounded by brighter colors that are inspired by the blended fruit. The variety pack is bright, fun, and perfect for making the most of the second half of summer.

“Vizzy continues to bring the most desired flavor profiles to our hard seltzer drinkers,” said Vi Tran, marketing manager for Vizzy Hard Seltzer.

“Fans saw this first with the incredible success of our Lemonade variety pack earlier this summer, and now we’re delivering the crisp summer taste of watermelon – a flavor that is made with real watermelon juice and certainly sets us apart from competitors,” Tran added.

“We’ve got a feeling that our fans are going to enjoy this watermelon pack well beyond summer sipping.”

Vizzy released its Lemonade Hard Seltzer variety pack this spring, and so far has been a hit with consumers. The brand is known for bright and bold flavor combinations, which is a good recipe for sparkling lemonade.

Vizzy Lemonade Hard Seltzer comes in Peach Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, and – of course – Watermelon Lemonade.

In order to celebrate the lemonade’s release, Vizzy gave away cash for lemons

– cars, of course. One lucky fan won $25,000 to put toward a new car, along with a year’s supply of Vizzy Lemonade Hard Seltzer.

It has been an eventful year for the brand. Vizzy released its second variety pack earlier this year. It also contains a watermelon blend – Watermelon Strawberry, to be precise. It is joined by Blackberry Lemon, Papaya Passionfruit, and Raspberry Tangerine.

The Watermelon release is exciting news from Molson Coors, which recently announced that it was halting production of Coors Seltzer. The beverage company will instead focus on the more successful hard seltzers in its portfolio, including the new Topo Chico and Vizzy.

Vizzy Hard Seltzer first hit store shelves in April of 2020. Although on-premise sales were starting to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a time when everyone needed a little extra vitamin C.

The brand immortalized its inaugural year in song last winter; they got the recording artist Vitamin C to record a parody

of her hit song “Graduation (Friends Forever)” inspired by 2020. Proceeds benefited bartenders that were out of work due to the pandemic.
